Regulatory Food Safety Auditing

Global Food Safety Auditing (GFSA) has qualified regulatory food safety auditors that are approved by the health department under the Food Act. The auditor’s purpose is to conduct regulatory food safety audits of those premises required to implement a food a safety program that complies with:

  • Standard 3.2.1 of the ANZ Food Standards Code (the Code) and extending to the requirements of

  • Standard 3.3.1 Food Safety Programs for Food Service to Vulnerable Persons.

Regulatory Food Safety Auditors must be approved by the Department of Health and outcomes of audit activities must be reported toappropriate local government enforcement agencies following the completion of the audit.

Regulatory auditing is a separate activity to HACCP Certification. Global Food Safety Auditing can provide stand alone regulatory auditing services or you may choose to link this activity with HACCP Certification.
